Step 2
Apply through the official route
- First obtain a qualifying Working Holiday visa or equivalent: procedure says Schengen country while agreement says EU member; confirm accepted issuing country.
- Email San Marino Foreign Affairs with passport and visa for its introduction letter; confirm Australian consent-letter and education evidence.
- Prepare the September 2024 Gendarmerie checklist, including insurance, housing, four photos and recent translated character documents.
- On arrival apply for the stay permit, then register availability with the Labour Office before job search/employment and employer notification.

Read your approval and entry conditions
Read the entire approval notice: identity, dates, entry deadline and conditions. Keep it available offline. Do not assume the visa starts on your preferred date.
Step 4
Get ready for the trip
