Step 2

Apply through the official route

  1. Apply outside Peru through Canberra or Sydney; another career consular office abroad is exceptional and requires coordination.
  2. Confirm current support-letter issuer and interview method; the mandatory-letter instructions name the former Australian DIBP.
  3. Prepare signed DGC005 and summary, education, funds, Spanish, character, declaration, passport/photo and insurance evidence.
  4. Submit the complete package, follow mission payment/assessment instructions and arrange passport visa issue after approval.

Step 3

Read your approval and entry conditions

Read the entire approval notice: identity, dates, entry deadline and conditions. Keep it available offline. Do not assume the visa starts on your preferred date.

Step 4

Get ready for the trip

Keep support and travel funds separate. Resolve the old department and interview-channel wording with the mission. Include the support letter with the original application; the page warns incomplete language, funds or letter evidence can lead to refusal.

  • Passport, visa and requested evidence accessible offline.
  • Initial funds, insurance and departure costs checked separately.
  • First accommodation and airport transport arranged.

Step 5

Start your Working Holiday

Enter within the issued six-month use period and track the twelve months from first entry. Notify the Labour Ministry after obtaining work; track each employer and course limits.
