Step 2
Apply through the official route
- Contact the Belgian Embassy in Canberra, which Luxembourg names for New Zealand Working Holiday applications.
- Obtain its current type-D filing instructions and confirm the fee and insurance amount.
- Prepare the signed form, photographs, recent police record, CV/letter, passport, support and return-travel evidence.
- File through the representing mission and await Luxembourg’s decision before travel.
Step 3
Read your approval and entry conditions
Read the entire approval notice: identity, dates, entry deadline and conditions. Keep it available offline. Do not assume the visa starts on your preferred date.
Step 4
Get ready for the trip
Keep EUR 2,500 support separate from return travel. Obtain a police record within the stated three-month period and ensure passport validity extends fifteen months from visa issue. Confirm whether the representing mission requires an appointment or provider submission.

Start your Working Holiday
The ministry says this Working Holiday visa itself permits fixed-term employment without a separate immigration residence-permit application. Read its dates and conditions; welfare and unemployment benefits are excluded and visa extension or category change is not permitted.
