Step 2

Apply through the official route

Confirm with Croatian mission/police whether your plan needs residence only or residence-and-work permission.
Prepare the correct form, criminal evidence, passport, photo, departure funds and current support calculation.
File at the competent mission or Croatian police office; for in-country filing register the address and apply during lawful short stay.
Await the applicable permission before work and arrange Croatian health-insurance assessment when residence is granted.

Step 3

Read your approval and entry conditions

Read the entire approval notice: identity, dates, entry deadline and conditions. Keep it available offline. Do not assume the visa starts on your preferred date.

Step 4

Get ready for the trip

Ask the competent office to confirm the current Act provision and euro charges: the live NZ page retains an older statutory article. Plan temporary contracts of no more than three months per employer and courses within six months.

Step 5

Start your Working Holiday

Register your short-stay address when filing after arrival. Residence alone is not the work route; obtain the applicable work permission and contact the health-insurance office as instructed.
