Documents and participation

Include the travel document, maintenance and return resources, insurance and the mission’s statutory declaration of no criminal conviction in New Zealand. A generic police-certificate instruction for another nationality is not substituted.

Step 2

Apply through the official route

Confirm the competent Czech mission and book an appointment for the New Zealand Working Holiday visa.
Prepare the printed signed form, passport, two photos, NZ statutory declaration, maintenance/departure evidence and insurance documents.
Submit in person and pay CZK 2,500; attend any required interview or biometric recording and respond to document requests.
After approval, arrange visa collection and insurance evidence, then follow the Foreign Police registration instructions after entry.

Step 3

Read your approval and entry conditions

Read the entire approval notice: identity, dates, entry deadline and conditions. Keep it available offline. Do not assume the visa starts on your preferred date.

Step 4

Get ready for the trip

Use the current IPC New Zealand section, not the Australian subsection. The older fixed funds example is not a current threshold; request the applicable maintenance calculation and check document translation requirements with the mission.

Step 5

Start your Working Holiday

Register with the Foreign Police within three days of arrival as instructed by IPC. Keep the valid permission and insurance; work is allowed during its validity and all courses together are limited to six months.

Work

The current New Zealand section explicitly provides free access to the labour market. Holiday remains the primary purpose.

IPC says New Zealand citizens have free labour-market access while their residence permission is valid. This does not remove the need for valid immigration permission.

The NZ list specifies a statutory declaration that you have never been convicted of a crime in New Zealand, using the mission’s form. Confirm formal document requirements before submission.
