Apply through the official route

- Prepare the online identity evidence, travel resources, HKD 14,000 maintenance and whole-stay insurance including personal liability.
- Complete and submit the application online with supporting uploads; respond to any Immigration Department request.
- If approved, follow the notification’s payment instructions and download the e-Visa; check its entry deadline and conditions before travelling.

Read your approval and entry conditions
Read the entire approval notice: identity, dates, entry deadline and conditions. Keep it available offline. Do not assume the visa starts on your preferred date.
Step 4
Get ready for the trip
Keep return-flight resources separate from HKD 14,000 maintenance. Read exclusions carefully so your medical, hospital, repatriation and personal-liability cover lasts throughout the planned stay.

Step 5
Start your Working Holiday
