Documents and previous participation

First participation and personal application

Prepare form, photo, Argentine police evidence for the last three years, declaration about other countries, funds, insurance and motivation letter. Bring originals and copies.

A last-minute deposit is insufficient

Bank evidence must cover the full required period. Keep it separate from departure costs and your actual travel budget.

Passport validity: clarify the difference

The Argentine embassy asks for more than six months of validity, while general WHIC guidance says one year. As precautionary preparation, aim for at least a year and confirm the applicable rule with the consulate; the general guidance is not treated as a verified Argentine requirement.

How to prepare your application

Prepare scanned requirements for the official consular email and wait for an appointment. The personal interview and original/copy filing follow that email preparation.

  1. Read Argentina’s H-1 notice and gather identity, form, photo, character, funds, return travel, insurance and motivation evidence.
  2. Verify the official email and send scanned requirements to the consulate for an appointment; do not upload them here.
  3. Attend personally with originals and copies and complete the interview.
  4. Wait for the decision and check your H-1 entry deadline and conditions before booking.

The inspected notice gives no decision timeframe. Confirm with the consulate; appointment waiting time is additional. ARKR-NOTICE-18
