Passport and nationality

Argentine and habitually resident in Argentina

The permit ends no later than three months before passport expiry.

Documents and previous participation

Printed form and in-person filing

Use Argentina’s WH1. Do not apply with the online form or from another country. Check all-passport-page copies and required translations.

A working month is not a block of 30 days

SIRI counts calendar months with reported salary. Plan work around that rule even if you do only a few shifts.

Municipal Danish lessons are another option

The official page describes free municipal lessons, subject to address registration and a possible deposit. Ask the municipality before choosing a private course; compare conditions and schedules.

Language courses · commercial service

Prepare your language skills before travelling.

Through ViveCampus, you can get quotes for language courses with international-student discounts. Offers may vary by your country of origin and destination. Request a personalized quote to confirm available discounts and the final price. Booking a course does not guarantee a visa.

Step 2

Apply for the Working Holiday visa

Annual quota

150 permits per annual cycle

March–February cycle: up to 75 from March to August; September–February can reach the annual total of 150. These are not 150 extra permits.

Application dates

March–February cycle

The cycle has two periods. Confirm the next announcement and Buenos Aires appointment; no 2027 date or hour is assumed.

Visa fee

DKK 3,060 SIRI fee + other charges

The SIRI charge excludes other consular or application-centre fees. Confirm the appointment first, then follow the official payment sequence.

How to prepare your application

Book VFS Buenos Aires first and then pay following official instructions. The Argentine route uses printed WH1 and personal filing; it is not an online application.

  1. Check Argentine conditions and book filing at VFS Buenos Aires through the official channel.
  2. After appointment confirmation, create the case order ID and follow SIRI and consular-channel payment instructions.
  3. Complete and sign Argentina’s printable WH1; bring the required originals, copies and receipts.
  4. File in person and complete official biometrics. Await SIRI’s decision; this website receives neither biometrics nor application files.

SIRI states normally 3 months, up to 4 if additional information is needed. Plan around the longer estimate; it is not guaranteed and excludes appointment waiting time. ARDK1

Read official instructions

We do not handle visa applications or receive application documents. Do not send personal documents to this website.

Step 3

If my visa is approved

Wait for a written decision. Before booking, check your entry deadline and the conditions of the permit you receive.

Length of stay

Up to 1 year from entry

Shorter passport, insurance or return-flight validity can shorten the permit. Check dates before booking.

Step 4

Get ready for my trip

Funds for your stay

DKK 15,000 + return flight or DKK 5,000 extra

Without a return flight, show DKK 20,000 total. Own statement up to 30 days old; multiple statements need the same date. Another person’s balance is insufficient.

Travel insurance

Medical, hospitalisation and repatriation

Prepare the WH1 coverage for the entire stay; the brief website wording is not the full checklist.
