Argentine passport / practical guide
Plan your Working Holiday visa application for Norway: review Argentina’s programme, organise your budget and know what to confirm before travelling.
Governments can change visa requirements at any time. Always check the official government pages before applying.

Argentine passport and residence in Argentina
Argentine citizenship is required, not residence alone. You must reside in Argentina when applying and hold a valid passport; confirm remaining-validity requirements in the current checklist.

Language evidence still needs confirmation. Norwegian may help daily life; check each course’s entry conditions.

Prepare passport, residence evidence, funds, departure and insurance. Check the current UDI/VFS list for forms and additional documents. Dependants need their own authorisation; this permit does not create a family-reunification right.

Initial living funds and the flight are separate items. Before finalising your budget, confirm UDI’s current amount and allow for accommodation, transport and paperwork.

Language courses · commercial service
Through ViveCampus, you can get quotes for language courses with international-student discounts. Offers may vary by your country of origin and destination. Request a personalized quote to confirm available discounts and the final price. Booking a course does not guarantee a visa.
Step 2
Up to 300 per year

Confirm the next application round and filing channel with UDI and VFS. No exact opening day or time is established here.
An application fee applies. Confirm the current amount and possible VFS charges before paying; no figure is confirmed in this guide.
Check UDI’s Argentine category and follow the embassy-designated VFS filing channel. The current checklist, fee and updated funds remain pending direct review; an old instruction sheet does not confirm current requirements.
The current processing period is unconfirmed because the UDI category requires manual review. Appointment waiting time and the decision are separate stages. ARNO1

Step 3
Wait for a written decision. Before booking, check your entry deadline and the conditions of the permit you receive.
Up to 12 months from entry
The agreement requires entry within six months of the grant and registration within seven days after arrival. Also follow your decision letter. This stay does not count towards permanent residence.
Step 4
You need funds for the first three months and a return flight or money to buy it. The current amount and evidence required by UDI still need confirmation. Keep this requirement separate from your total travel budget.

Adequate medical insurance
The embassy requires medical insurance. Confirm coverage, duration and accepted evidence before buying; another country’s minimum is not substituted.

Mark what you have reviewed. This helps you organise your trip; it is not a requirements assessment.
These marks are not saved or sent. Reloading clears them.
Step 5
Up to 6 months with the same employer
Work may supplement your travel funds. The limit is per employer, not six months of total work; the agreement does not permit permanent employment.
Courses or training up to 3 months
Article 4 permits study or training up to three months during the Norwegian stay. Confirm that your course fits the permit before paying.

Explore Norwegian courses →Treaty Article 3 requires registration within seven days after entry. Book a police appointment through UDI My Applications or the confirmation email, and check location and documents against your decision. Police attendance requires an appointment; ask the authority if none is available within the deadline rather than assuming an exemption.

Yes. The route requires Argentine citizenship and residence; holding the passport while living elsewhere is insufficient.

Yes: up to six months with the same employer within your authorised stay. The treaty limits study to three months.
No. The treaty’s 300 annual permits do not establish current availability. Check UDI and its official channel.

The treaty provides entry within six months after grant and up to twelve months from entry. Check your individual decision too.

The treaty sets seven days. Police require a prior appointment booked through UDI or its confirmation; check the official location and documents before travel.
