Argentine passport / practical guide
Plan your Working Holiday visa application for Armenia: review Argentina’s programme, organise your budget and know what to confirm before travelling.
The agreement establishes conditions for Argentine citizens, but the current application instructions still need confirmation. This note is not a confirmed application route and is excluded from age matching. Check with the authority before paying for documents or booking.
Governments can change visa requirements at any time. Always check the official government pages before applying.

Step 1
18–30 years
You must be 18–30 inclusive when applying and meet the programme’s other conditions.
Passport and residence in Argentina
You must be an Argentine citizen habitually resident in Argentina with a valid passport. Confirm remaining validity for this programme rather than relying on tourist-entry guidance.
The agreement does not specify a language examination. Confirm the current checklist with the embassy and the language expected by each employer or course.
Explore language courses →First participation, no criminal record
Previous participation, accompanying dependent family members and a criminal record are excluded. Request the programme-specific forms, certificates, photos, apostilles and translations. General visa instructions do not replace the programme checklist.
Visitor visas and the Working Holiday Programme serve different purposes. Do not assume tourist permission authorises the work covered by this agreement.
Language courses · commercial service
Through ViveCampus, you can get quotes for language courses with international-student discounts. Offers may vary by your country of origin and destination. Request a personalized quote to confirm available discounts and the final price. Booking a course does not guarantee a visa.
Step 2
The annual allocation is set by an exchange of notes. The number for Argentine applicants still needs confirmation from Armenia; it is not assumed unlimited.
Ask the embassy for the current schedule and procedure. The treaty sets no annual opening date. After issue, distinguish the three-month visa-use window from the authorised stay.
The Armenian application fee must be paid. The Working Holiday amount and payment method still need confirmation; visitor-visa or reverse-direction fees are not substituted.
The agreement establishes a category distinct from tourism, but the inspected consular page supplies no Argentine Working Holiday instructions. Confirm the category before using a general form.
We do not handle visa applications or receive application documents. Do not send personal documents to this website.
Step 3
Wait for a written decision. Before booking, check your entry deadline and the conditions of the permit you receive.
12 months from first entry
The agreement separates two periods: visa validity of three months from issue and a twelve-month stay from first entry. Confirm the dates and multiple-entry arrangements with the embassy before booking.
Step 4
You need sufficient initial-stay funds to the consular authority’s satisfaction, plus a return ticket or money to buy it. Confirm amount, currency and accepted evidence before applying.
Insurance throughout the stay
The agreement requires comprehensive medical insurance throughout the stay. Ask the embassy for the specific cover and evidence before buying; no monetary minimum is borrowed from another country.
Mark what you have reviewed. This helps you organise your trip; it is not a requirements assessment.
These marks are not saved or sent. Reloading clears them.
Step 5
Up to 6 months in total
Work is limited to six of the twelve months in total, not per employer, and must be incidental to the holiday. The agreement excludes permanent employment during the visit.
Courses lasting up to 6 months
Training or study programmes may last up to six months. Confirm how multiple courses are counted before combining them and check dates with the school.
Explore language courses →Travel with the specific visa and check the entry deadline and stay start. The inspected pages do not establish local registration steps or deadlines; request those instructions before travel.
