Apply for the visa

  2. Prepare DGC-005, the motivation letter with accommodation, passport, funds, certificates and insurance.

Step 3

After approval

Read the full decision: dates, identity, conditions and any evidence needed on arrival. Keep a copy available offline. Do not assume the visa starts or ends on your preferred date.

Step 4

Prepare your trip

Keep EUR 2,500 in a personal account with three months of transactions; budget departure separately. Confirm the fifteen-month passport-validity wording and old health clause before ordering documents.

  • Passport, visa and evidence accessible offline.
  • Insurance, financial reserve and departure travel checked separately.
  • First accommodation, arrival transport and emergency contacts prepared.

Step 5

Start your Working Holiday

The notice says the French PVT avoids additional migration or administrative formalities on arrival. Confirm the current scope of that exemption with the consulate and follow the requirements that apply to your employment.

Work

May seek/take employment during visa validity.
