Step 2
Apply for the visa
- Check your age, ordinary residence in France and the French programme conditions on the Immigration Department website.
- Prepare your passport, evidence of HKD 25,000, return travel or additional funds, insurance and the online application documents.
- Apply online through the official service. Wait for the decision and follow the official payment and electronic visa download instructions.
- Observe the entry period shown on the visa and the work and study limits of the French programme.
Step 3
After approval
Read the full decision: dates, identity, conditions and any evidence needed on arrival. Keep a copy available offline. Do not assume the visa starts or ends on your preferred date.
Step 4
Prepare your trip
Arrange insurance for the whole stay, including liability, medical treatment, hospitalisation, pregnancy, disability and repatriation under the French conditions. Keep return funds separate from the initial HKD 25,000. Check the required files and supporting evidence before submission.

Start your Working Holiday
