Step 3
Read the entire approval notice: identity, dates, entry deadline and conditions. Keep it available offline. Do not assume the visa starts on your preferred date.
Step 4
Prepare the form, photo, ID, CV, motivation, activity plan, education and passport evidence. The current checklist requires an original bank or post-office certificate for at least NTD 80,000, requested within one month; a passbook copy is not accepted. Relative-owned funds need relationship evidence. The entry/exit certificate must be issued within ten days and show the last three years and locations. Arrange full-stay illness, injury and death cover before collection.
Step 5
After landing permission, the stay can last up to one year from entry. Receive the residence card at the relevant port or by later delivery, and register the address with the municipality within fourteen days of settling it. Check re-entry procedures before temporary departure; work in adult-entertainment or specified premises is prohibited.
Work may supplement travel funds, but employment in adult-entertainment or specified premises is prohibited. The visa is not primarily for employment.
