Step 3

Read your approval and entry conditions

Read the entire approval notice: identity, dates, entry deadline and conditions. Keep it available offline. Do not assume the visa starts on your preferred date.

Step 4

Get ready for the trip

Separate originals and copy sets. Include your NHI card copy, English participation certificate and full Schengen policy. Confirm current charges and medical-certificate authentication with the office.

  • Passport, visa and requested evidence accessible offline.
  • Initial funds, insurance and departure costs checked separately.
  • First accommodation and airport transport arranged.

Step 5

Start your Working Holiday

Register with your municipality within 8 days of arrival and obtain residence documentation. Notify both municipalities when moving, and track total work and study periods separately.

Work

Work must remain incidental. The 6-month limit is the total work period, not 6 months for each employer.
