Step 3

After approval

Read the entire approval notice: identity, dates, entry deadline and conditions. Keep it available offline. Do not assume the visa starts on your preferred date.

Step 4

Prepare your trip

The checklist gives no numeric initial-funds amount. Prepare this separately from return/departure. Insurance includes work risks; plan no more than six months of total employment.

  • Passport, visa and requested evidence accessible offline.
  • Initial funds, insurance and departure costs checked separately.
  • First accommodation and airport transport arranged.

Step 5

Start your Working Holiday

Stay counting begins the day after arrival. Apply for any further 180 days in the final 15 days; total stay is capped at one year from first entry. This route does not allow switching to other grounds of stay; observe the six-month total-employment cap.

Work

The six-month limit is total employment, not per employer. Do not substitute another country’s rules.
