Step 2

Apply for the visa

WHIC directs Dutch applicants to KVAC The Hague. Confirm its current checklist, payment and submission method; general documents do not replace local instructions.

  1. Check Dutch nationality, age and prior participation.
  2. Obtain the current H-1 checklist from the officially designated KVAC in The Hague and prepare the required evidence.
  3. Submit through the official channel and follow payment, appointment and any additional instructions.
  4. After grant, check entry deadline, weekly work limit and registration before departure.

Step 3

After approval

Read the entire approval notice: identity, dates, entry deadline and conditions. Keep it available offline. Do not assume the visa starts on your preferred date.

Step 4

Prepare your trip

The absence of a national employment-period cap does not remove the general 25-hour weekly rule or occupation restrictions. Confirm local insurance and document requirements before purchase.

KR-WHIC

  • Passport, visa and requested evidence accessible offline.
  • Initial funds, insurance and departure costs checked separately.
  • First accommodation and airport transport arranged.

Step 5

Start your Working Holiday
