Step 2

Apply through the official route

Apply personally at Argentina’s embassy in Ireland with originals and photocopies. Use the current Irish checklist, including Irish police evidence and a separate declaration about records elsewhere. Meeting the checklist does not guarantee a visa.

  1. Confirm Irish citizenship, residence, age and no previous participation. Arrange the embassy’s personal filing procedure.
  2. Prepare passport with a blank page, form,4×4cm photo, Irish police certificate and the required other-country declaration.
  3. Bring originals and copies, your own financial evidence, departure arrangements, insurance evidence and a holiday-motivation letter.
  4. Await the decision. On grant, check entry dates and the twelve-month nonextendable stay before travel.

Step 3

Read your approval and entry conditions

Read the entire approval notice: identity, dates, entry deadline and conditions. Keep it available offline. Do not assume the visa starts on your preferred date.

Step 4

Get ready for the trip

Prepare three months of your own bank or credit-card statements for EUR 2,500 initial funds, with departure resources separately. Check whole-stay hospital and repatriation coverage of at least EUR 30,000. Ask the embassy about document authentication and any fee before paying.

IE-AR-18

  • Passport, visa and requested evidence accessible offline.
  • Initial funds, insurance and departure costs checked separately.
  • First accommodation and airport transport arranged.

Step 5

Start your Working Holiday

Keep the visa, insurance and financial/departure evidence available. The programme permits entry and exit during the authorised twelve months, incidental work and training. The stay is not extendable; local tax or registration procedures are not established by this checklist and need separate official confirmation before work.
