Step 2

Apply through the official route

Check Korean eligibility and IEC history and create a profile.
After an invitation, accept and check the UTC deadline in your account.
Apply for the work permit within 20 days of acceptance using the personal checklist.
Prepare the approval letter, insurance and funds, and check the permit at entry.

Step 3

Read your approval and entry conditions

Read the entire approval notice: identity, dates, entry deadline and conditions. Keep it available offline. Do not assume the visa starts on your preferred date.

Step 4

Get ready for the trip

Prepare full-stay medical, hospital and repatriation cover for entry. Obtain banking evidence within 1 week before departure and keep departure costs separate from CAD 2,500.

First accommodation and airport transport arranged.

Start your Working Holiday
