Age when applying
Peru’s programme information includes Chileans aged 18–30 when applying. The age comparison does not assess the remaining file or confirm that a visa will be issued.
Practical guide / official sources
Peru’s Working Holiday route belongs to the Pacific Alliance exchange programme. Review documents and confirm the steps for your application with the Santiago consulate.
Governments can change visa requirements at any time. Always check the official government pages before applying.
Content reviewed by the site owner; check current requirements in the official sources. The annual figure describes the agreement framework; it does not confirm remaining places or a current call.

Step 1
Peru’s programme information includes Chileans aged 18–30 when applying. The age comparison does not assess the remaining file or confirm that a visa will be issued.
This guide concerns Chilean citizens. Prepare a valid passport with more than 6 months remaining and blank visa pages, following the stricter annex wording. Tourist entry must not be confused with work authorisation.
A language-test requirement has not been confirmed for this route. Spanish speakers should not be directed by default to Spanish classes when planning the trip. Any other-language course should match your goals and respect visa conditions.

Explore language course options →The official Pacific Alliance service includes ages eighteen to thirty, first participation, police and criminal records, return travel or funds and yellow-fever evidence for a tropical area where applicable; confirm with health and consular authorities what applies to your itinerary. Its described form, photos and filing belong to Mexico: obtain Santiago’s current checklist.
Language courses · commercial service
Through ViveCampus, you can get quotes for language courses with international-student discounts. Offers may vary by your country of origin and destination. Request a personalized quote to confirm available discounts and the final price. Booking a course does not guarantee a visa.
Step 2
The original agreement announcement provides for up to 300 visas per calendar year for each nationality. Confirm current implementation with Peru; it is not a remaining-place count or confirmation of a 2026 or 2027 call.

Santiago publishes general services and an information channel, but no Working Holiday filing arrangement was extracted. General e-SAMI information does not itself establish this category. No Santiago opening, appointment, deadline or payment is inferred from tourist or Mexico-office instructions.

Confirm the current exchange-visa fee and any other applicable charges with Peru’s Santiago consulate. Another office’s Mexican-peso price is not a Chile application fee. Budget separately for certificates, insurance and travel.
A decision time for Chilean applications in Santiago has not been confirmed. Peruvian guidance says the delivery date is given by the consulate. Confirm review and delivery stages before fixing travel dates.

Sending the file is not approval. Confirm the authority’s instructions before making firm financial commitments.
Official guidance and application accessStep 3
Wait for the written decision before committing to flights or study. If issued an authorisation, check its entry dates and all conditions.
The specific stay length and deadline for using the visa after issue need confirmation with Peru. We do not transfer the Chilean annex’s 12 months or other agreements’ conditions to this route for Chileans. Check validity and authorised entries before booking.
Step 4
Gather a passport meeting the authority’s margin, personal maintenance resources and separate departure provision. Before paying for certificates, insurance or flights, obtain Santiago’s current checklist and fee; the Mexico publication includes Chileans but does not resolve Chilean filing.

A personal planning aid; ticking the list does not confirm visa eligibility. Your ticks are not saved or sent. Reloading this page starts the list again.
The official Peruvian Pacific Alliance service expressly includes Chileans and requests three months of statements, but is published by the Mexico office. It is programme context; Santiago must confirm amount and evidence format without importing that office’s charge, appointment or bank account.
The agreement requires compliance with the host’s health and insurance conditions. Minimum coverage and Santiago’s applicable policy requirements have not been confirmed. Obtain the terms before purchase and review medical care, repatriation and exclusions.

The programme provides for a departure ticket from Peru or enough funds to buy one. Prepare that evidence in addition to support for the stay. Confirm Santiago’s accepted proof before buying non-refundable flights.
Step 5
The programme allows work as an incidental activity, rather than the main purpose, and not beyond the authorised permission. Confirm the document enabling work and arrival formalities before taking a job. It guarantees neither employment nor permanent residence.
The original Pacific Alliance announcement describes study or training for up to 2 months. Peru’s current application of this limit to Chileans still needs confirmation. Plan cautiously around that reference and ask before paying.

Explore language course options →Specific arrival formalities for a Chilean holding this visa were not established in the accessible current sources. Confirm with the consulate and Migraciones the document permitting stay and work and any required registration. Tourist entry or a pending application does not establish work permission.

A starting point for planning, not a promise of a job or accommodation. Check your visa conditions before working or studying.
Plan the route to your accommodation and keep the address available offline. Allow time to rest, get to know the area and adjust your budget to your actual expenses.
Return to my preparation checklist →Update your CV in Spanish and prepare a short introduction about your experience. Confirm work formalities before starting and check each role’s requirements, including other languages where relevant.
Review work conditions →Keep the consular contact for the area where you will stay, along with your accommodation details. If you will study, ask the school what arrival guidance it provides.
View consular contacts →If your plans change, review the costs, dates and relevant conditions before making new bookings.
Review each destination separately. Age, insurance and study conditions differ; an age filter does not decide whether you can obtain a visa.
Read the Australia guide → · Compare other destinations →Yes. The Pacific Alliance service lists Chile, Colombia and Mexico and ages eighteen to thirty. That inclusion does not turn its Mexico office’s instructions into a Santiago procedure.
That payment is not established for Santiago. The published charge and account belong to the Mexico consulate; confirm applicable charges with the office processing your file.
It was not confirmed to handle this exchange visa. Obtain Santiago’s Pacific Alliance route before registering or paying; tourism and work permission are separate routes.

The official service requests support evidence over that period but does not set a numerical minimum. Santiago must confirm applicable evidence and amount; prepare departure resources separately.
The programme guide links it to a stay in a tropical area. Confirm what applies to your itinerary with health and consular authorities rather than making it a universal requirement.

The duration, activation deadline and arrival formalities for Santiago remain unestablished. Obtain those conditions in writing before travel and check the issued permission before working.
